NANO-3001 Water-resistant Anti-static Floor Wax

NANO-3001 Anti-static Floor Wax is a new generation of anti-static floor wax that retains its anti-static properties even when cleaned with water or a wet mop. This is an achievement that 3M and Johnson have been researching for decades without successful industrialization. Traditional anti-static floor waxes, when cleaned with water or a wet mop, lose their anti-static properties.


Product Introduction

Utilizing advanced conductive polymer technology, it provides long-lasting and efficient static dissipation while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing and clean appearance.

The anti-static dissipation performance indicators of this product: surface resistance, volume resistance, and friction voltage meet the requirements of SJ/T 10694-2006, and the static decay period complies with the requirements of GJB 3007A-2009.

Differences Between NANO-3001 and Traditional Anti-static Floor Waxes

1. NANO-3001 can be cleaned with water and retains its anti-static properties, whereas traditional anti-static floor waxes lose their properties when cleaned with water.

2. NANO-3001 has excellent wear resistance and can last for over a year. Traditional anti-static floor waxes typically last for about 3 months.

3. After a year of use, NANO-3001 still maintains its anti-static resistance value. Traditional anti-static floor waxes gradually lose their anti-static properties over time until they disappear completely.

4. Once the anti-static properties of traditional floor waxes disappear, they become insulators, leading to charge accumulation.

5. Traditional anti-static floor waxes lose their properties due to mopping, washing, or friction, requiring the removal of the old wax layer with a wax remover when reapplying. NANO-3001 does not require the removal of the old wax layer.

6. NANO-3001 has incomparable advantages over traditional anti-static floor waxes, solving the water-washing issue and eliminating the need for considerations that traditional anti-static floor waxes like 3M require, saving a lot of manpower and resources.


Technical Challenges Overcome by NANO-3001

1. Polythiophene has difficulty dispersing, especially in wax water, often leading to layer separation.

2. After adding polythiophene to the wax emulsion, the wear resistance is greatly reduced.

3. Color compensation is challenging; polythiophene dispersion liquid is a blue liquid, requiring special methods to make it a light blue liquid, so that after film formation, it becomes a transparent or nearly transparent film.

NANO-3001 has innovatively solved the above three major challenges.


Usage Method of NANO-3001 Anti-static Floor Wax

1. Clean the original floor with water and let it dry. (If there is an ordinary anti-static wax layer on the original floor, it is necessary to first remove the old wax layer with a wax remover and appropriate wax pad.)

2. After the floor is completely dry, evenly apply the product on the floor with a clean wax mop, wait for about 30 minutes until the wax layer is completely dry, then apply the second layer. Depending on the need, apply two to five layers, do not pour the remaining wax back into the original container for reuse.

3. For daily maintenance, you can use a wet mop to mop, wash with water, or use a high-speed polishing machine with a No. 3 pad for polishing.

4. Store above 0°C.


Why Must Anti-static Floors Be Maintained with Anti-static Floor Wax?

1. Anti-static PVC floors are made by adding a conductive mesh structure to PVC, and the mesh holes are filled with PVC, which is not conductive - this is the weakness and defect of PVC anti-static floors. The inventor or original designer of PVC anti-static floors designed the anti-static floor wax to compensate for this defect, that is, after laying the anti-static PVC floor, apply anti-static floor wax to give the entire anti-static PVC floor uniform anti-static properties. However, after this technology was introduced to China, it gradually changed, and many users gradually stopped using anti-static floor wax to save costs; because the test results are OK, which is actually wrong, sometimes the test results also have their limitations. This is the fundamental reason why anti-static PVC floors must be coated with anti-static floor wax.

2. After the anti-static floor wax is applied, it can improve or maintain the static dissipation function of the anti-static floor.

3. Anti-static floor wax can form a protective wax film on the surface of the anti-static floor, and the dirt generated daily is isolated on the wax film, not polluting the floor. In this way, we can greatly extend the service life of the expensive anti-static floor, protecting our investment.
